  28. You will have to patch `icont' and `iconc' to use your paths. A
  29. program to do this (`patchstr') is supplied with the binary
  30. distribution. A description of how to do this exactly is in one of the
  31. README-files which come with the binaries.

  39. The Linux binaries from ftp.cs.arizona.edu are compiled without X
  40. support (the date mark of this distribution was, I think, September
  41. 1994), maybe this has changed in the meantime. If not, you will have
  42. to get the sources and compile yourself. It compiled without any
  43. problems on my machine. Among the documentation files there is a
  44. step-by-step guide to compiling Icon, which tells you what to do.
